Palace Hotel **** Zandvoort: Our hotel, with an impressive height of 80 meters, offers an unrivaled location right on the beach and opposite Zandvoort train station. Our guests enjoy beautiful views from the comfortable rooms, and on the 18th floor we even have beautiful loft rooms with full sea views.

What we look for in you

  • As a Receptionist at our hotel, you are the Sherlock Holmes of our reception. You look for solutions to every problem and always have an answer to our guests’ questions.
  • As a Receptionist you are the hub in the web of our hotel. You welcome our guests with open arms and make them feel immediately at home. You are an expert in checking in and checking out our guests and keep our reservation system up to date.
  • In addition to handling financial transactions, you are also our local information guide. You provide our guests with all the information they need to make their stay with us as pleasant as possible, both practically and touristically.
  • As our Receptionist, you are also the voice on the other end of the line. You answer incoming telephone calls and deal with emails and letters. Your professional and friendly approach ensures that our guests are satisfied with our service at all times.
  • In everything you do, you guarantee the quality and hospitality of our hotel. You are the first person our guests see and you ensure that their stay is unforgettable. And if something is unexpectedly not to your liking, you are the one who handles and resolves complaints with a proactive and positive attitude.

  • Your working hours are flexible and can be during the week or at the weekend, in the morning or evening. Working hours are between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
  • In addition to a challenging job within recreation and tourism, we also offer you excellent employment conditions. Consider a salary between € 1,975.00 and € 2,525.00 gross per month based on 38 hours per week, appropriate to your education and experience. You will also receive a travel allowance and no less than 25 days of holiday per year (based on full-time employment).

Profile of our ideal Reception Employee / Receptionist

  • Lives in the Zandvoort/Haarlem area or has your own transport.
  • You are both independent and a team player and know how to deal with stressful situations. Representativeness and hospitality are self-evident for you and you have excellent communication skills in Dutch, English and a third language, for example German, is an advantage.
